The occupation? The Russians forced the Minister of Culture of Belarus to talk in their language

At a press conference held on July 11 at the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee and the opening of the XXII International Art Festival "Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk", Minister of Culture of Belarus Boris Svetlov addressed reporters in Belarusian. It's not like Russian media representatives accredited to the forum. Following an introduction by the Minister in the forefront of the hall, where the majority of staff were sitting Russian media reports, angry voices were heard: "And now we turn what you said".

One of the women said the following: "We are not excessive, first". Had an effect on the situation tactfully leading news conference, a famous Russian artist Sergey Shustitsky. "It seems to me that all ckazannoe so clear and needs no translation" - he turned to the disgruntled language minister. The incident flattened himself Boris Svetlov, who moved to the Russian and promised to answer any questions - in the language in which they will be performed. Further questions were asked the Minister of Culture in Russian, so he answered them.

Unfortunately, a fundamentally new information in an hour press conference and did not hear. Speakers once again voiced that reported in the previous encounters with journalists, or the fact that the festival can be found in press releases or brochures.
