Chairman of the Vitebsk regional court apologized to human rights activist

This became possible only after human rights activist Paul Levinau (pictured) complained to the President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus Valentin bitch. In his complaint M. Levin told the chief judge of the country that the president of the  Kastrychnitski court of Vitebsk Eugene Burunov their actions violated his right of access to justice, and violated procedural law.

Also activist complained that the first deputy chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Fedortsov declined to give estimates of Action E. Burunov, thereby contributed to the restoration of rights and legitimate interests of Levinau.

Perform violations of civil procedural law in the complaint, was charged Vitebsk regional court chairman Nicholay Chamiczonak. Audit found that in preparing a civil case on appeal consideration workers Oktyabrsky district court of Vitebsk were admitted procedural irregularities. In particular, due to the neglect of their duties in the notification process participants - brothers Levinaus, did not specify the time of their consideration of the appeal in the Vitebsk regional court.

On this basis, 31 October 2013 at a meeting of the Vitebsk regional court chairman Oktyabrsky district court Eugene Burunov was strictly indicated the need for careful attention when preparing cases for appeals consideration.

In the address Oktyabrsky district court of Vitebsk and the headquarters of Justice Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee directed presentation on the consideration of which the judge was deprived Burunov monthly premium, and the Office of the Head of Civil Affairs E. Khodorenko was brought to disciplinary responsibility.

For violations Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Court Nicholay Chamiczonak was forced to bring the defender Paul Levinau formal apology.
