"Dialogue" talked to Vitsebsk activist Sergei Parsyukevich, who was nominated by petition to the Vitebsk Oktiabrsky number 20 and has not been registered: the Commission reject the signature.

- In general, the signatures collected twice needed - 2000 or more. And passed the only signatures that were close to the internal verification and validation of telephone calls of subscribers passport data. As a result, weed out approximately 10-15 signatures. That is, we passed only a normal, clean the signatures collected in real people.

And what happened? If I remember correctly, rejected 70 or 80 signatures. It got to the point that one invalid signature sheet 9 signatures already recognized ... It's just awful! This can not be.

 

- Nevertheless, it happened. Before the registration process, you said that such an outcome is predictable. Why?

- On my pickets people practiced by most. But we are constantly being pestered. We defended for three days near the shop "Vitebsk products" Frunze Avenue, and then comes the police - they say that you are standing closer than 150 meters from the fence kindergarten. Measured - 140 with little steps. Well, we had to leave. Virtually anywhere on Frunze could not be other than the intersection of Smolensk. By Lazo not be the truth as well, the same situation on the Moscow avenue. I challenged those decisions.

Plus, when I learned what a place identified candidate for pickets - strictly in the courts, where ever people do not, or, for example, the store "Frunze" - also appealed to the CEC.

And, apparently, they realized that I'm really going to campaign properly (and I was really going to spend it properly!), And decided I better not record of him. And now we have what we have ...

 

- So, it turns out, you "cut", because you could be more "pro-government" candidate?

- As far as I know, they face the task: those who really can win 30-40 percent of the vote - not registered. And I think that would garner more than 50 percent iron. Because the support of the people was good. We felt it in the pickets and the collection of signatures. I am the coordinator of the campaign "Tell the Truth" of Vitebsk, and we have done a lot of useful things for the citizens. So so - I stupidly afraid to register. No brainer: if I spend a normal campaign, I have the rating will be much higher than in Tsetsokho (Alexander Tsetsokho - Member of the Regional Council, the director of the Vitebsk medkolledzha).

And as far as I can see, this is a general trend in the country. That is, people who have a team, and who can really compete with the pro-government candidates - cut at the registration stage.

 

- Will appeal against the decision of the district commission?

- Certainly. Will butt, because I know that my signature is normal. I would have made a 5-10, well 20 blunders of signatures, but not as much as they drew me there.
