According to Paul Levinau, power, depriving it of the opportunity to spend an action of solidarity with political prisoners, violated both the Constitution and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. In particular, have been violated Paragraph 2 of Article 19 and Article 21, which guarantees the right to freedom of expression and the right to peaceful assembly.

The appeal of the ban on picketing the courts did not produce results.
