At the working meeting of the main Department of Justice Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee heard the chief justice October district of Vitebsk Eugene Burunov and Deputy Chairman of the Court of Hanna Popkova. The basis for consideration in the judicial body of judicial officers was the treatment of human rights defender Paul Levinau (pictured). The actual analysis of the October district court of Vitebsk detected a lack of proper monitoring by the leadership of the implementation of the judges of the Court of procedural laws.

As a result, the court president of October district of Vitebsk Burunov and his deputy Popkova strictly indicated by breaking the law when deciding whether to grant the defender motivirovachnoy of the court's decision.

This is not the first response of the main Department of Justice for violations of the law by judges of district courts. In particular, it was recently brought to the attention of the judges Pershamaiski district court of Vitebsk Natalia Korablina the inadmissibility of violation of procedural law in cases of administrative offenses. Justice also said authority confirmed the fact of violation of criminal procedure by the judge of the court Andrew Preuss. As a result, detection of these violations of the chairman of the district court Pershamaiski AA Andrushenko pointed to the need to monitor the work of judges and rapid response to petitions from citizens about the ignorant actions of subordinate judges.

Human rights activist Paul Levinau promises that he will continue to seek to identify violations of procedural law on the part of judges and report these cases to the judicial authorities to take urgent measures to eliminate violations and punish those responsible.
