Vitebsk Kurapaty? (photo)

In times Lukashenko theme of Stalinist repression against the Belarusian people almost lost against the background of the events of World War II, about which much has been written, filmed movies, and in memory of the victims and heroes built many monuments and memorials. But if we compare between these two realities, compare without ideological dogmas and hysteria, it becomes clear - the history of political Stalinist terror actually far more tragic than the story of the war and its consequences still affect the present and future of the nation.

Flywheel Bolshevik repression affected all categories of people: peasants, workers, soldiers, servants, intellectuals ...

Please note: since 2000 the repressed in the USSR writers, poets, playwrights, about 25% (about 500 people) were in Belarus, whose population was at that time less than 5 percent of the population of the USSR! Decimating cultural gene pool of the Belarusian nation, the Bolsheviks in practice embody the ideology of fascism in our land. The fruits of their work are today national nihilism and cultural desert, against which the flourishing empire chauvinistic ideas.

Death sentences on innocent victims antihuman regime implemented in prisons, but the greatest number of shootings punishment committed in designated areas outside the city. One such place is world-famous - it Kurapaty, which was a few kilometers away from Minsk. The corpses were thrown into deep pits dug in advance, which was filled with sand on top. According to various estimates, the total number of killed people there from 30 to 100 thousand people.

The printed information about the place of the national tragedy appeared in 1988. Researcher at the Institute of History of the BSSR Zenon Pozniak and journalist Eugene Shmygalёv in the newspaper "Literature and Mastatstva" published an article entitled "Kurapaty - the road of death."

After the publication of her former NKVD and MGB and other "honored people" went into hysterics, completely denying the massacres of their own people. However, to stop the return of the historical truth failed.

Contrary to their howling was established the State Commission, which officially recognized the mass executions in Kurapaty. But the same "Kurapaty" were at each regional center prewar Belarus.

Yet and still, despite the official rehabilitation of the victims of Stalinism, we do not know the details of their deaths or their places of burial. Therefore, each of the national conscious citizen understands the process of returning the full information about the crimes of Stalinism is not completed, it must continue to its logical conclusion. A place of burial sites found should be a place of remembrance and veneration.

Unfortunately, people who know anything about the place of burial is getting smaller, but the search continues witnesses. Thus, a member of the CCP BPF Jan Derzhavtsevu fortunate to meet with the villagers Luzhesno Sergei G. Kudinov, who informed him of the existence of a mass grave in the forest repressed citizens of the village of Hayes Vitebsk region.

Says Sergei G.:

- In the mid-eighties of the last century, I'm with my brother Ivan went for mushrooms. After leaving the forest for Haythami, we suddenly came upon three recent excavations, which were scattered around the skull and fragments of human skeletons. Throwing human remains into a pit from which it pulled looters, we have gone from the place.

Houses shared the news with his parents. And the mother told me that in that place before the war shot of "enemies of the people." And the first came to the territory of its neighbor, which, as we went to pick mushrooms. Mother lived at the time in the village Borovye (now Drikole). Attention neighbor attracted sounds coming from somewhere in front. Intrigued, he moved to the other side and came across the cordon. Its gently asked to leave, and never appear in the locality, if he does not want to trouble yourself. But Grandpa could not resist and after a while returned there again, on a small hill where he saw several svezhezasypannyh flush with the ground pits. From this information to conclude that there is repressed shot. My parents knew about it but was told only when we informed them of his find. Here's how the people sitting in this fear, and now sits.

My brother turned to Mazolovskoy village council, the Orthodox church, the newspaper wanted to write through a friend of the journalist, but he was told that "no you will understand." And it was probably the 86th year.

Having such information Oct. 29, the very day of the repressed, and we set off towards the village of Hayes, followed by the forest and it was necessary to look for what he saw Sergei G. almost thirty years ago the place. The landscape in this time has changed beyond recognition, so the search was not easy. First we got on recent excavations, where black diggers looking for something to make money. But no sign of pre-war tragedy there was not found. It was necessary to extend the area of search, venturing farther into the woods, but did not manage to find. And at the last moment, when we moved in the opposite direction, Jan Dzyarzhautsau still stumbled upon the excavated pit looters. About forty excavations of various sizes, we have counted on the forest hill. In deep holes and around human skulls strewn with holes from bullets, bones, fragments of human shoes. Awesome sight - even after tens of years past.

- Some were killed, and their children or grandchildren (black diggers), leaves, come dig, nobody stranger here will not go, - said Sergey G. seen.

Full of conflicting feelings and emotions, angry indifference of the authorities and individual citizens to our not this too distant past, we avoided this dull corner, finding more and more evidence of crimes that have not been made public.

After a few days in search of new witnesses and visited the village of Hayes Drikole. The village was lucky to find the eighty-year Drikole Valentina Petrovna Shageeva, which, as she put it, to the smallest detail remembers his childhood. She not only spoke about the fact of execution of the repressed in 1937, 1938's, but also to show places where there are unpardonable crimes. "Sometimes, as the evening, and told the parents to the forest went the machine, and then start shooting. This is from Haytham first right and somewhere a kilometer into the forest, we are there to graze cows in childhood chased. There was such a clearing, and her digging a pit in advance, and then shot. During and after the war people were digging graves, they were looking for - I do not know. Now there is an agricultural field, and until recently were the public gardens. Even though people know the history of the place and still plow and sow and harvest harvested "- summed Valentina Petrovna.

Despite the fact that the old itself has almost no moves, she still agreed to come with us on that ill-fated field (area of not less than 10 hectares) for the former "death road".

Our next companion was Vasily Yemelianovich Dryndrozhak (1929 p.). His father was a kolkhoz Yemelyan Onufrievich groom. "So that night, said as soon as the horses heard the shots, then immediately began to wheeze, nervous. Here, just below us lived an old man (Karpenko seems his name was). So one day he went for firewood, and the day just digging a pit. Military approaches him and says, "Get out of here." And it was the 37th or 38th year. Killed near here, a half mile on the hill. If it was healthy, maybe show you the place. Can we go on this road, but you can on the highway at the Town and left in the forest. Killed there, not only men but also women. Around the burial places people find female crests may have hoped unfortunate that relatives would be found and reburied in a human?"

In all these events is striking is the fact that, despite the obvious fact of the existence of mass graves of victims of Stalinist repression, society and the state is avoided and ignore their objective existence. And this is in itself a moral crime and indulging consciously or unconsciously vain attempts distortion of history. But it should be understood: Stalinism and totalitarianism can not be defeated, until society learns the names of the victims and the executioners did not condemn those that worked inhuman, criminal acts against the best representatives of the Belarusian nation.
