An essay competition "Women - we are together!"

Fundation "My razem" (Poland) announces an essay competition "Women - we are together". Project is carried out within the framework of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland "Polish-Belarusian cooperation in 2013" („Wspólne Działania Polsko-Białoruskie 2013"), in collaboration with Committee for the Protection of the repressed "Solidarity" (Belarus). Participation in the essay contest will take women from Belarus and Poland to share its experience in the fight against the regime. working languages ??of the competition are: Polish, Belarusian, Russian.

Suggested essay topics:

- The role of women in social and public life of the country (in the past and today);

- "Solidarnosc" in Poland, the role of women (the story of women activists, persons close to the events of this period, are invited to participate and work based on the impression the next generation, ie children or grandchildren activists);

- The experience of fighting the regime (daily life, events, people's attempts to achieve its goals under the regime);

- Culture and art as a way to implement a woman indifferent to reality.

Entries should be sent to the secretariat of the Fund fundacja@myrazem.eu by e-mail no later than July 1, 2013 in the form of a coded essay will be transferred to the jury for evaluation.

Jury: Barbara Zdrajewska (Poland), Inna Kulej (Belarus), Eva Skrzyvanek (Poland), Halina Skarachod (Belarus).

The results will be announced on July 20, 2013 and posted on the Fund www.myrazem.eu, facebook.com/fundacjamyrazem.

The best three finalists of the contest will be awarded with cash awards: First Prize of 1,000 Polish zlotys, second prize - PLN 750, third - 500 zloty.

The ceremonial presentation of awards will take place during the three-day international seminar-workshop in Wroclaw in September 2013 20 authors of the best essays will be invited to participate in a three-day international seminar-workshop in Wroclaw. 10 of them will receive additional funding to participate in a seminar-workshop.

Best essay contest will be published in a separate publication, which will appear in print at the end of 2013
