Peter Ivanov denied the right to appeal against the judgment

Peter Ivanov appealed the Pershamaiski district court of Vitebsk judge Natalia Korablina's ruling about bringing him to administrative responsibility. The application was accepted. After a while, Peter Ivanov received notice of the date and time of his complaint to the regional court. Imagine his surprise when he came on the appointed day in court, he learned that his application will not be considered - not that day, nor in any other.

Peter Ivanov explained that in his complaint allegedly not given reasons for disagreement with the decision, which prevents its consideration on the merits in a court of second instance. Regional Court returned the case to the district court Pershamaiski Vitebsk. Thus, according to Peter Ivanov, was stripped of his right to defend himself in court. New complaint, he can not make as already expired appeal of the decision in a case concerning an administrative offense.

Recall, judge Korablina punished Ivanov on Article 23.5 of the Code of Administrative Offences of a fine of 5 million rubles for allegedly insulting the law enforcement officers. In the proceedings before the district court Pershamaiski he also, in fact, been deprived of a remedy: Peter Ivanov was sentenced in absentia, he was not even aware that he was being tried as a summons came to him the day after the conclusion of the trial.
