"I have all the old way. Prisoner sits - the term goes. Behind the scenes I pick up to the peak, and a month later Pokachi been a roller coaster. I hope that my absence is compensated by your human activity. Hold on and do not lose heart. Prior to the meeting,"- so wrote the head of the human rights center "Viasna" Ales Bialiatski, who is serving a sentence in Bobruisk colony number 2, Vitebsk human rights activist Leonid Svecik.

Leonid Svecik says that this is the 10th letter which he had received from the human rights activist, political prisoner, after the latter was in prison.

Recall, Ales Bialiatski was arrested August 4, 2011. October 24 Pershamaiski district court of Minsk (judge Sergei Bondarenko) found him guilty of "concealment of income in a large scale" and sentenced to 4.5 years of imprisonment. International human rights organizations have recognized Ales Bialiatski a prisoner of conscience.
