Chief architect of Vitebsk faces up to 10 years in prison

General Prosecutor's Office opened a criminal case against the chief architect Vitaly Dubik Vitebsk. He is suspected of committing a crime under part 3 st.426 Criminal Code (abuse of power or authority).

Prosecutors said that the law was violated during the performance of overhaul and modernization of the economic body GU "National Academic Drama Theatre named after J. Kolasa." According to the audit report, damage amounted to more than 149 million rubles, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.

For the organization of the preliminary investigation, the criminal case has been referred to the Investigation Committee of the Republic of Belarus. Chief architect of Vitebsk faces up to 10 years in prison.
